TRANSFORMER STATION

We are specialized in design, supply equipment and construction of typical transformer stations as follows : 

Column station :

- a type of transforer station in which transformer is put on steel single pole or reinforced pole. In case the single pole is made of steel, we can design the pole which is also the case of MV, LV circuit breaker inside. 

Advantage : compact structure, suitable for installation on place/ position with the limit of space, the populated residential area, urban area, aetherics. 

Disadvantage : The transformer is installed on the top of the pole , the capacity is limitted. It is normally suitable for transformer with capacity < 630kVA. 

Kios station 

- Type of transformer station in which the whole of main equipments : Transformer, high voltage circuit breaker, low voltage circuit breaker is installed inside station case made of steel. HV MCCB, transformer, HV MCB is put in isolated compartment. Kios station is produced acc to the standards as follows:

+ Station case : IEC 1330
+ MV circuit breaker : IEC 298 
+ LV circuit breaker : IEC 947 - 2, IEC 439 
 
Advantage : compact structure, easy to install, ensure the aetherics, the installation space is not too large, suitable for industrial workshop, factories. 
 
Disadvantage : Space inside the kios station is limited, air ventilation solution always ensure the temperature inside the station , ensure the operation of equipment. Not suitable for station with big capacity. 

Hanging station 

- a type of transformer station which is designed, installed and operated out door. The equipments of station are installed on supporting beam with shaped steel, hot galvanized, hanged on two electric poles made of centrifugal concrete. 

Advantage : Simple structure, low invest expense

Disadvantage : The station is operated outdoor, safety is not ensured in stormy weather. Using fuse cut out together with lighting protection , HV transformer protection is not ensured, low safety. The capacity of station is limitted. 

Built station :

A type of design in which the whole equipments are installed inside built station. Main equipments consist of transformer, MV circuit breaker, LV ciurcuit breaker which are put in the isolation special area. Connection between equipments through Cables system or Busway system, in cable trench or cable ladder , cable trap system. 

Advantage : Operation in safety, suitable for all types of capacity of station. Very suitable for industrial factories which safe and stable operation is required. 
 
Disadvantage : Required for large building area, high invest expense.
